Our unit is a direct bolt in for most 1965 through 1985 GM vehicles using the standard GM alternator. Our revolutionary unit utilizes 30 year newer technology to provide better cooling, better durability, and VASTLY improved output at idle. Our custom housing is machined to be very thin front to back, providing a large gap for airflow between the cylinder head and back of the alternator. We gaurantee, you will be impressed!
